My Approach
My counseling style has been described as warm, curious, and insight-provoking. I believe that respecting you means showing lots of compassion along with a healthy respect for your ability to heal through your autonomy and self-determination. Sometimes this means challenging long-held thoughts and feelings about yourself or others. These challenges are done in a gentle and sensitive way that recognizes change is hard and can also be rewarding. It takes vulnerability and courage to seek help and I look forward to honoring that vulnerability and courage in our sessions together.
